Co-Presidents of the AAMM (Association for the Advancement of Minorities in Medicine) hold two Board seats on the New Mexico Hispanic Medical Association Board of Directors. It is an honor for us to hold these seats on behalf of the students we represent. The AAMM provides opportunities for medical students to get involved in many of the issues we’ll face as providers. We learn the skills to provide dementia and Alzheimer’s screenings at health fairs, organize an immigrant clinic, and provide mentoring to high school and undergraduate students as they contemplate a career in medicine. We invite students to get involved in our work. We’ll keep information on current and upcoming activities on this website. Be on the lookout.

We look forward to meeting you and having you get involved.
